Source matters.

For fruits and vegetables, freshness is the key to getting the most nutritional value.

Growing a few herbs and greens is simple. Grab a pot and some potting mix or find a sunny spot in your yard. Plant a few seed or seedlings. Or, get to your local farmers market or co-op. Remember that frozen, canned, powdered and ‘pouch’ foods have almost no vitamin C, which is critical to your brain’s ability to make many neurotransmitters, so add something fresh.
